Am back, can’t say it fully, as I need to watch myself for being regular this time. :-)
Was reading Jiddu the other day, and read a very nice explanation of frustration.

So, What is frustration?

Jiddu explains it as

“We want something: an ideal, a success, a position, gratification of an urge; and when we are thwarted we feel frustrated, a feeling of being nothing, a miserable failure, and so on.The desire to be has in it, inherently, the seed of frustration. We do not like ache of loneliness, that peculiar fear of being nothing, that void that is hidden under all our activities. Being aware of it, we try to cover it thro search of personal happiness or ascetism or search for God.When the activities or the search is questioned, or they fail to achieve their desired results, this void, this emptiness shows itself. The awareness of this void we call frustration.”

Wise words from a wise man, and the way he has explained it is beautiful. Frustration is omnipresent, with all human beings, at some or the other stage of life. Understanding and being aware of its existence, is a path to solve it.

Now u may ask, that u understand what is frustration, but how to fix it.Jiddu has a remedy.

How do u fill a bucket with a hole?

Leave it empty, coz however hard u try, it will not be filled.Stop running away from it, and understand it.

In a way, have room in your life for it. Slowly, its importance will come down, and u’ll either consider it as part of life, and not be worried about it, OR slowly let it get lost in oblivion.

The “Great Escape” at Napier has been fabulous.

The patience of Gambhir and the mystic brilliance of VVS, were a treat to watch, though I couldn’t follow them completely due to odd timings.

Way to go, team India.

Third test is ours, my prediction says so. And India truly deserve to win the series.

Had heard of LSD for long, but didn’t knew the actual thing.Read about it recently.

So,  Lysergic acid diethylamide, or LSD, is a semi-synthetic psychedelic drug which causes significant alteration of the senses, memories and awareness; at doses higher than 20 micrograms, it can have a hallucinogenic effect.

There are two chemicals which are released in brain which play a role here: serotonin & norepinephrin.

Serotonin manages sleep, mood etc. and norepinephrin is responsible for alertness and mental focus. They are released in waking states. At the time of sleep, the level of discharge goes less, and thus absence of  serotonin induces dreaming and and absence of norepinephrin induces sleep.

Now think of sthg that will not let the norepinephrin levels to go low, but will allow the serotonin levels to go as low as possible. The result will be ” dreaming while awake” or what we call hallucinations. This is what LSD does.

Wonder drug. Isn’t it?

Go live the dream, with eyes wide open.

Till next time,

Asset

A bright insight into comprehension of Frustration by J Krishnamurthy. A good read. I hope the comeback is consistent this time.

Keep Writing!
